Mar 14 2009:

This is what the bird looked like on Mar 14 with Rust-Oleum paint
applied with a paint roller. The paint needs to go!

Apr 3:

Ground off 1/4" of bondo to expose crappy body work. Third photo
is what it looked like after using a shrinking disk

Mar 25:

First two photos show corners of driver's door cut out and
sandblasted. Third photo shows corners TIG welded in and
middle section cut out and sandblasted

Jan 20 2010:

After almost a year I started working on the Falcon again. I MIG
welded in a new center section of the door, and applied a skim coat
of All Metal

Feb 3:

Right rear quarter needs to be replaced. Left quarter looks
rust free but needs to be pulled out 1/4 inch

Feb 16:

Used stud gun to straighten left quarter. Passenger door corners are
sandblasted and painted with weld through primer. Ready for patches

Mar 19:

Door is sandblasted and painted with weld through primer. Door
bottom is welded on and ready for finishing

Mar 24:

Driver's fender is worse than I thought. On the front someone welded
a patch from behind then lathered on the Bondo. The rear of the
fender is not too bad.

May 11:

Metal work is done on drivers fender

June 17:

Opened up passenger quarter a little more rust than I was expecting.
Fabricated parts of the inner fender. The rest of the rust I will get
when the car is on the rotisserie. The patch panel is now welded in.

July 23

Car repainted in epoxy primer and ready to drive for the summer.
